Sour 80s, Sweet Ambrosia and a Road Trip Down the Red Carpet

Sandy Deane from AOL TV joins us for this week's American Idol Thursday. Andrew Welch from Ambrosia Software tells us about their software and games. And Jennifer's got a red carpet report for College Road Trip.

Want to share your thoughts on American Idol or have a question for Sandy? Call us at 800-39-ONLINE or email radio@onlinetonight.com and we'll address your questions or comments on the air next Thursday. Don't forget to let us know by email if you want a free Online Tonight bumper sticker, and we'll get you the instructions on how to do that.

Hour 1
Sandy Deane helps us critique this week's American Idol performances. The guys rocked, the girls slumped. Disappointment over ignoring so many good 80s songs. We all agree that Kady and Luke should go home and that we never want to hear another Celine Dion or Whitney Houston song. Sandy thinks Michael Johns and Jason Castro can do no wrong. She finally agrees with Max about Danny, but to his dismay still loves Brooke. The judges were all over the place this week - especially Paula. Uncle Paul shares his picks and agrees that David Cook rocked the house.

Hour 2
Andrew Welch, el Presidente of Ambrosia Software, joins us to talk about their products. Max loves Ambrosia's iToner, the reason that he's able to have the Pirates theme as his ringtone. The challenges of Apple updates. Ambrosia's got tons of games you can try before you buy. Max's description of GooBall amuses Andrew. Ambrosia's utilities include Snapz Pro, Dragster and the new WireTap Studio, featuring live preview, that would be great for any podcaster. Andrew's thoughts on the Apple SDK and the Mac market.

Hour 3
Listener email about the Apple SDK - what is it? What kind of apps would you like to see on the iPhone? Jennifer reviews Viva Pinata for Windows and gives it a high rating. We hear about the life cycle of a pinata, and Max's concerns about pinata romance. Jennifer's red carpet report for College Road Trip features a former teen idol who steals the movie but is still a really nice guy in person. Jennifer finally determines her favorite Viva Pinata animal. The Steve Ballmer/Guy Kawasaki conversation.
